The marble and marble bag were pretty much what I expected. I am disapointed in the "Marble Shooting Games" book - it is really small and does not contain much information. I bought this for a 6-year old, and the book is too small for him to even look through.
A better discription of the book with dimensions would be helpful.

My kids, 7 and 8, really enjoyed learning the marble games in the book. It was new and fresh for them and a great diversion from the video games!

The marble game is pretty nice. The marbles are pretty colorful, with cats eyes in different colors and see-through different colors and even some matted ones. They came with two shooters as well. The booklet inside is helpful for playing other games.

The product itself was very high quality. The recipient was very pleased. The packaging however was not intelligently designed. The marbles were loose in the box and once you pulled the tab to open the box the whole thing fell apart sending marbles all over the place.

My two boys (8 & 10) recently saw someone playing marbles and showed an interest. We got two sets for them to play. They were excited and I'm sure they will get some action, but the video games and DVDs took all their attention. I can see my husband and me playing.

This product is first class.The quality is better than I remember it being in the early 1960's.It is a real pleasure to play with.

The marbles are of high quality and diverse colors. They are well-crafted, sturdy, and "pretty." There are a good number of marbles (60) so in playing a game there are enough for everyone to win some. The set also comes with two shooters. Marbles is a game our whole family can play together. The set comes with instructions for different games.

I was hoping the instruction booklet would be more informative with a few more marble games and also easier to read with a larger font .

Gifts for children aged 8 and 10. Booklet informative for those who've never "shot" marbles. Better played on short carpet rather than hard surface.

It was a fun game. The only problem was trying to play it on carpeting. Maybe a suggestion as to what to play it on when forced to be indoors and not have the proper surface to play on. It was a fun game because my husband used to play marbles as a child and playing with his son was great.
