Small Package, Big Fun

Animal Yahtzee is based on the Yahtzee you know, just with animal images on the dice instead of numbers. The game is a great combination of luck and analytical skills for kids 5 - 6 and older. My highest recommendation is always for games that are fun and stimulating for the kids AND the adults and this one fits the bill. However, this game gets on the honor roll for economy of size and packaging; it satisfies the environmentalist and is great for travel, waiting rooms, etc. . I order these in multiples for the birthday party season.

My kids love it!

I had read about this product online and decided to order the game as a way for my children, ages 3-9, could enjoy playing with each other. It turned out to be a great way to teach them sequences and colors (for my youngest). They request to play it several times during the week. The games pieces including the pencils, notepad, and die are all well suited for smaller hands. The only disadvantage is that I am having difficulty finding either just the replacement pads or die without purchasing the entire game again.

I purchased this for my 5 year old. As a family, we are enjoying the game. I wish that they would have made the dice from a plastic material. We have only played the game a few times, and the wooden dice are already looking worn out. The score pad could have been a bit bigger, also. I do not know many 5 year olds who can easily write in the space provided.

My five year old daughter loves this game. It is simple, easy to understand, and fun! It's the perfect game for the whole family to play and enjoy. This version is great because it is packaged in a small tin that is easy to toss in my bag and take with us. I like that children do not need to be able to read or recognize numbers to play. The game can also grow with your child in that you can simplify the game by playing with less dice for younger children and older children can figure out the strategy behind choosing which dice to roll and use their math skills when adding up points. A great find! I will be purchasing more of these for gifts!

Great game for the whole family. My kids range from 3 to 10, and this is one of those rare games everyone can play and enjoy together.

I was looking for a game that would be engaging and fun for my 4 year old when we travel. This is it! Everything I need to keep her interested & it's small enough to fit in my bag easily.

I bought this game for my 5 year old daughter. She really enjoys playing it and has a lot of fun. It is very compact and easy to grab and take along in the car.

it was purchased to entertain my 5 yr old grandson on the plane trip from texas to alaska. it is the perfect size. and he likes that he can roll the dice and try to get all the animals.....

This is a nice game that would make a cute gift. It is simple - it has 5 die and a little notepad with instructions. My kids enjoyed playing it!

Animal Yahtzee is a great game for kids. Our 5 year old grandson loves to play this. He can't add up the points yet. The actual playing of the game for him, is so much fun.

Didn't realize that it was so compact! However, was delighted by the size as we live in very small space. Fun game and my kids love it.
Fun for a 5 and 7 Year Old

This is a fun game for our 5 and 7 year olds. Directions are clear enough to for the kids to understand, but complex enough not to be boring. The only slight drawback is that it is primarily a game of luck. (There is some limited thinking strategy involved, but it is mostly luck.) The can is smaller than I expected - about 4 inches high, so it was a nice stocking stuffer. I love HABA toys. Nice that this is all wood with a metal can. My 5 year old especially loves filling out the little score pads and adding up the numbers for score keeping.
