My grandson enjoys playing with all his Wedgits. We have the junior size, as well as some regular size. They all work well together, which is great! It is wonderful to find unique building toys that almost any age can enjoy.

Building board makes it much more fun & easy to building with WEDGITS blocks - and they're great! Also, it's sometimes hard to find the building board elsewhere, so it's great that Fat Brain Toys sells it!

the kids enjoy the wedgits alot - one 3 yr old is very into building things. only minor complaint is that there aren't enough pieces to allow 2 3 yr olds to build at the same time. I will but another set since I see longetivity in the toy - as they get older they can build more elaborate structures. the board is helpful, but not absolutely necessary - it enables them to build more complex structures.

If you have multiple wedgits set then this board is good to have. With just a Starter set this board may not be that useful. But if you have a deluxe set or two sets of 15 pieces then this board is good to have. It is good for some of the more complicated designs which are there on the Wedgits design cards. My 4 year old son loves this board and has a lot of fun building lot of complicated designs.

A great base in which to build many different creative things with Wedgits. Maybe not a MUST have, but certainly a nice to have.

We love Wedgits in our house. This building board makes it easier to be even more creative with your building. It's really been great for my 4-year-olds to the different designs in the wedgit books and cards.

If you are a Wedgits fan, the building board creates some interesting new possibilities.
However, i would recommend only buying it after you own lots of Wedgits pieces first!

WE love Wedgits! As a pre-school teacher I strive to buy toys for my students and my own children that are both educational and fun - wedgits meet the criteria! We love to have wedgit challenges to see who can build the tallest tower or us the most pieces. The wedgit board is great because it helps stabilize the creations and gives the builder many more options.

The Building Board is useful, but we discovered it is also not necessary if the building is taking place on a non-carpeted surface.

I teach preschool and Wedgits are a favorite for all the kids. Introducing the building board added to the creativitiy this toy inspires. In the midst of toys that cause limited thinking, Wedgits and the building board promote miles and miles of imaginative learning.

Although this is not required for building Wedgits structures, I have found it to be VERY helpful because our house is almost entirely carpeted. Also, this Building Board supports structures that wouldn't balance on their own, such as those with the smallest Wedgit as the base. So, though not required, I really recommend this item be purchased in conjunction with Wedgits.

I love that this board works with all wedgits sets. We have the starter set now but someday hope to be able to expand to the older kid sets. I only wish I had thought to purchase the starter set that comes with the cards and the building board together.

The board really adds a lot more options when playing with the Wedgits. I bought this board and the pink wedgits for my six year old daughter, but my ten year old son also enjoys playing with them.

If you don't always have a table handy to play with Wedgits, this building board is a must. Plus, there are a number of designs which require the board. I would definatley recommend this item!

It works well with the Wedgits but I guess I never looked at the size of it. It thought it would be a much larger playing surface area. The quality is excellent though.

We love the wedgits and figured the board would make it that much better. It is ok, especially if you are building on carpet, to keep it standing. But when using design cards, often the base pieces don't fit on the squares so you can't use it. Personally, I'd spend the money on another set of the blocks!

I was under the impression that this board was necessary to use with the Wedgits Set. While the product looks good, it is not necessary. I honestly wish that I had saved my money and not purchased it! The board is not "a must" for using Wedgits.

Great base for the wonderful Wedgits. Our kids (and my husband and I) LOVE wedgits and this base offers a nice support, especially when building on carpet or uneven surfaces. If you have wedgits, or are getting wedgits, I recommend getting this as well!

Granddaughter is 8, she absolutely loves the Wedgit building pieces. The Building Board was just another way to increase the fun as it provides a stable base for building with the fantastically engineered building pieces, while adding more design capabilities due to the built-in design of the board. She plays with the Wedgits for hours at a time, even we adults love the fun and like that it can be as challenging or as easy to suit every age and skill level. Fun right out of the box, but continued educational fun as she build more and more challenging designs.

This is the first toy that I have ever reviewed and I am doing so now only because this is a FANTASTIC toy! I bought it for my 3 year-old's birthday, but I enjoy playing with it and so does my 11 year-old son. I brought these to thanksgiving dinner with my family and my 43 year-old brother-in-law (who is also a lawyer) couldn't put them down and commented, "I have got to buy these for my kids". They offer very advanced designs, but are also very easy and forgiving for children of younger years. A great investment!

I purchased this board to facilitate my four year olds in their building with wedgits. It was exactly what they needed to start building even bigger, taller creations. The Wedgit blocks are a favorite at our house even in kids as young as one. I've talked to customer service at the Wedgit company and they assure me all their products have been tested for lead and are lead-free! This is a nice reassurance at this time of uncertainty in the safety of our toys. I'd recommend this Wedgit building board and Wedgits in general to any parent.

I was excited to add to our growing collection of Wedgits with the building board. So far, my kids, ages 1 1/2 and 5 aren't sure what to do with it. They still like building in the nestling device that came with our starter set. They may be a bit young for it. I think a 5 year old with a large set of Wedgits could do amazing building with it. I may tuck it away for a while.

The board is exactly what you expect. It allows you to build objects with fewer pieces and allows for more stability. In addition, we bought one Deluxe Wedgits Set, all of us played with the set.

My grandchildren now can build on the carpet without the Wedgits falling. This group of building toys is frequently taken out and played with. Great toy!

I purchased the Building Board for Wedgits after seeing one at the home of a friend. I wanted it because I already had some Wedgits for use in my pre-school classroom and realized that this item would enhance the use of the Wedgits. The children have enjoyed the expanded building that they can do now that they have the building board.

It only works for certain sizes of Wedgits creations. Several of the suggested ones do not really fit. However, it is very nice for the ones that do fit. I have a young granddaughter who loves to create and then carry the creation around to show it off - the building board is great for this!

All of the Wedgits sets are fantastic. It is a great toy... I even love playing with it after the kids are asleep! I highly recommend it as a sound addition to any other building toys you already own.

My kids love these blocks. They go beyond the little kids blocks and stack up in ways wooden blocks or legos don't. Worth every penny.

The building board makes it easier to build taller structures on carpeting, as it gives stability to the Wedgits. It also allows more creativity in using the blocks. My gransons like to build tall structures from a point, and they can use our second building board to make a 2 story "building."
