My four-year-old great-nephew found it hard to stop playing with these blocks. Then, his mother and father insisted on having a go at it. Even tried to interest their two-and-a-half-year-old son to try, but he's a bit young. Great toy and great motor-skills tool

I found this to be the most innovative of building toys. It is very easy for a developmentally delayed child to manipulate.

My son loved this toy for about two weeks, and then lost interest. I've put them away now, so I can bring them out again and they will be a "new" toy again to him. Adults seem to like it just as much as children.

We purchased this set along with the deluxe set. I like the larger white and green pieces that come with the starter set. We have a 4 and a 2 year old. They love to see how high they can build and my 2 year old daughter likes to wear them as bracelets. This is a well made product that is entertaining for all ages, even adults.

My almost 3 year old granddaughter loves the wedgits. It captures her attention well. I plan on adding to her basic set.

Our 5 yr old daughter got this. My husband was skeptic to begin with, considering all of the traditional building toys we already have, but it is truly different than other building toys. Our daughter keeps going back to play with it amidst all her other gifts. She is fascinated with all of the ways you can put 2 different shapes in different sizes together. She also got the "Starter Set Design Cards" which were quite beneath her but did manage to spark a couple of ideas. We are going to be getting the Deluxe Set along with the Advanced Design cards for even more building fun.

I bought this initially for my 4-year-old's birthday along with the starter set design cards. He really liked it but I was even more suprised that my 2 1/2 year old liked it. The quality of the wedgits is very good and it is definately something that their younger sister and any other future siblings will be able to enjoy. The additional design cards give them a focus for their play and they enjoy building the designs pictured. My 4 year old has built all the things pictured in the design cards but he keeps going back and rebuilding or expanding on what he has alredy built. This has kept my boys busy for hour long stretches which is pretty good for them. I am contemplating what Wedgits set I will buy next.

Wedgits are a hit! I bought a set for use in my church and so many children wanted to play with them, I had to buy more. Then, I bought a set as a gift for my 2 year old nephew. All seven of my nieces and nephews, from the 2 year old to the 11 year old played with them throughout our holiday gathering.

I know my almost 2 1/2 year old grandson pretty well as I have taken care often since he was 4 months old. He has yet to really build with blocks or Legos. He mainly knocks down what others have built. So when I took the Wedgits Starter Kit over with me I did not expect a lot. Well, he surprised me. He found the Wedgits very appealing. He started stacking them right away. Then on his own, he discovered nesting and shortly thereafter placing pieces vertical. This is the first toy he has actually built with. He liked them so much he would not go to bed without taking the large green piece with him. Next morning the Wedgits were the first thing he headed for. Great toy and his mother and father love playing with it too.

I don't know who loves it more: my toddler or my husband. My husband and I are so pleased with Wedgits that we look forward to buying additional sets, as our daughter gets older.

My boys love this! I have two sons ages 14 months and 3 years. This toy keeps them both busy for hours. I have found it to be multi-functional. My boys use it to build a variety of things using their imagination, plus it's so colorful I use it to teach them their colors as a game. I am looking forward to buying the additional sets in the future. This was a great start!

My daughter isn't quite two and is easily frustrated, but the WEDGITS Starter Set has been a success. She immediately began stacking and unstacking the pieces, comparing sizes and colors, and generally having fun. I think her enjoyment of this toy will only grow as her motor skills increase. An added bonus is that it is fun for Mom!

This deceptively simple toy can provide hours of fun for your child...and your spouse. We purchased the set for our 18 month old son, but we have gotten at least as much fun out of it ourselves. Challenge yourselves to make all kinds of designs and see how the different shapes can fit together! Made of quality materials, the toy should last for years to come.

Wedgits are a great toy. At first glance they may appear limited, but rest assured, even the 15 piece Starter Set is capable of variations I think most adults would find interesting. I can't imagine a more flexible stacking toy covering such a wide age range. By the way, the Starter Set appears to be identical to the standard sets, with the small white octahedrons replaced with jumbo versions and an added jumbo green rhombus not seen in the standard sets. This is to reduce choking hazards and increase play-ability for small children with less mature fine motor skills. The result seems to be equivalent to the standard set, but one size step larger, ensuring full functionality and future compatibility. Perfect for toddlers, but easily expandable as the child grows.

My 26 month old daughter loves this set. It's easy to fit the pieces together so she does not get frusterated trying to build. She loves building pyramids & has started building little hollow houses/boxes for her ducky & little people. It's lots of fun for the grownups to play with too. The shapes are so interesting, we're still coming up with new designs to try.

We got the Wedgits Starter Set for our 2 year old earlier in the year, and brought them in to share with her class. The entire class loved playing with them. So, it was easy to choose a gift to give her toddler class. The teachers love it and the kids love it. Although the whole class can't play at once, there are enough pieces for two or three children to share.

Both of my daughters (2 and 4 years old) love this product. Especially my older one as she can follow the instructions on the manual and create different structures. And they look very artistic. Both the color and the design thought behind the toy are great. I may go ahead and buy the more advanced set.

I would have preferred a rating of 4 and a half stars, 4 will do. My 6 year old daughter really liked this toy. My 3 year old hasn't warmed up to it. My 6 year old really, really likes it. I'm surprised by how innovative and interesting it is. Now we have the older kids' version on our list of things we'd like to buy soon.

My friend's 2 1/2 year old son was totally enthralled with the Wedgits Starter set I bought for him. I am an Engineer and am very impressed with the learning opportunities that I see in this toy. I did a search for excellent learning toys for 2 year old children on the internet and was referred to your website. I will be a repeat customer of your company.

I just ordered my 2nd set of Wedgits. The first set was the Wee Wedgits, which my son (now 15 months old) loved. PROS: Wedgits Starter Kit was still able to capture my son's attention and allowed him to be creative with the various pieces. It also encourages problem solving, and eye/hand coordination. CONS: I was disappointed to see that the material was a lot harder, not rubbery/softer like the Wee Wedgits set. Because the new set was harder in material, the corners were also significantly sharper and not as safe. Overall, I recommend this toy with adult supervision.

I gave this to a friend's toddler a few months ago and she plays with it every day so I have just ordered one for my granddaughter. She is about to be of an age to enjoy the Wedgits Starter Set as well.

I originally bought this toy for my 18 month old, but found my 4 year old and his friends like it just as much. Overall, its a great toy that makes them think while they are having fun.

My children really enjoy the Wedgits we purchased from Fat Brain Toys. They are a very unique and interesting building set and my kids have created fantistic structures with them. If your kids love blocks and lego they will love wedgits. I highly recommend them.

If your little ones like building they will love this toy! I purchased the Wedgits Starter Set for my 4 1/2 year old. When they arrived all three of my children including my 8-year-old and 2-year-old couldn't wait to get their hands on them. (Papa was pretty interested in them, too) They have played with them every day since the box arrived making their own creations and trying to build the ones from the diagrams in the included book. We created a challenge for our older daughter by only giving her a few chances to look a the picture in an attempt to replicate it. The only complaint from the kids is that there are not enough pieces-they would like to copy some of the diagrams that require more pieces so... Grandma is buying a second set for an upcoming birthday. Another note: The pieces seem indestructible!

I have purchased Wedgits in the past from another source. I have an in-home childcare, and all of the kids love them. Ages 12 months to 12 years right now.

This was one of many toys my kids recieved from Fatbraintoys for Christmas. (Great website! by the way. I may never buy from a toy store again.)
The toy was intended for my 3 year-old son, although he and his 5 year-old brother are close enough in age to like the same kinds of toys and play equally with everything they have.
The toy came promptly, was in good shape from shipping, seemed to be of good quality and was a good number of blocks for a starter set and the money paid.
The only problem is, they don't seem to be of any interest to either of my boys. They played with the toy for about 30 minutes 4-5 days after Christmas. I probably won't order any expansion sets unless they show alot more intrest.

I bought the WEDGITS Starter Set for my 17 month old son, but everyone in the house has been enjoying it since he opened it. I thought the pieces might be a little advanced for him but he is able to make pyramids without any trouble. It seems that someone is always playing with the set and I especially love it. I was surprised to see how creative my husband got when he was making structures with it. The only thing I wish I had was more pieces so I could make more complex structures! I'll probably buy another set in the future to add to this one.

I have ordered three sets of Wedgits and they are the most wonderful toy for all ages, even adults!
My grandsons and grandaughter love playing with them and building different and unique images. I enjoy playing with them and helping them build things.
The first toy they run to in the toy room are the Wedgits.
Great item for all ages. Nana even loves them!

I bought this for my 2 year old son and, while he has played with it, it is my 4 year old daughter who keeps wanting to build and put things together in new ways. For something that seems so simple there are an awful lot of things that can be done with Wedgits. I especially like that we can spend some quality time together (secretly learning about spatial relationships etc.) and they are not asking to turn on the TV!
