After one day of use, the toy still moved forward, but with a jerky motion, rather than a steady drive. We took the toy to our local beach and it didn't work well in the sand at all. It kept getting stuck and wouldn't move either way. Needless to say, my son was very disappointed and angry. We quickly returned the toy. We're requesting a refund.

The child receiving this gift has had it on his "wish" list for quite awhile. He immediately had it out of the box and traveling along all sorts of surfaces. It was a great size for a 5 year old....very durable in construction.

Awesome toy!

We bought this as a gift for a 3 year old (a bit under the 5 yr. suggested age) and it was by far the hit of the party with all of the kids--and adults. It is such a cool toy! We plan to buy one for our 4 yr old daughter for Christmas--she's begging for the land shark.

Morphibian Gator RC Car

We bought the Morphibian Gator for our 3yr. old boy. Not only does he love it. My six year old daughter loves it (& wants one for her birthday). My husband and I love it too. It's durable and fun to drive. We have not set it to the water test. We don't want to risk it, frankly. So I can't speak to the water durability. It does eat batteries fairly quick. Our rechargable batteries don't stand up for long. That means standard batteries for the best performance. Would recommend for boys and girls. Just make sure, if you buy two, they need to run on different megahertz. Otherwise the signals will cross and the cars will be useless if played with in tandem.

Great Gift

The Gator was purchased for my Grandson's 3rd Birthday.
It was a huge hit.
All the other toys sat there as cast offs while the Gator was driven over them.
I could not have been more pleased.
It did take a few minutes to put in the batteries, but after they were in, that's all she wrote. Gator here, Gator there, Gator everywhere!

We purchased this gift for our 4 year old nephew and he just loves it. He's got a large backyard that is perfect for "Morphibian" exploring. It's a very tough toy - which is perfect for most 4 year old boys!

This was an amazing toy..I gave it to a cousin who is three and he had a blast...on the tar, mulch, grass, wherever...this Gator just went and he followed it all over the different terrain in Vermont! I would definately buy this toy again!!

This toy was great for my nephew's 7th birthday. The first day we used it, we didn't have new batteries, so it was really slow. But when the new batteries were added, the car was great! Havene't used it in any water yet, but the kids love it!

My niece immediately wanted to play with it. It kind of, sort of, worked initially. Her dad blamed it on bad batteries. Even after they changed the batteries, they could not get the toy to work properly. I bought one for another child and it worked fine. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: Kind of, sort of... causes fun to cease. We shipped a new Morphibian to her eager niece.)

The toy is absolutely great. My 8, 5, and almost 3 year old play with this all the time. It provides hours of entertainment. Great toy and we recommend it to everyone. Price is right and toy is awesome

I gave the Morphibian - Gator to a friend's son after he became a big brother to twin boys. He is 3 1/2 years old and she said he loves it. He hasn't used it outside in the mud or water yet but loves using it around the house.

This is a great toy. My son loves his, it could probably work for ages 3 and up. We gave it as a gift at a 5th birthday and it was a big hit. The kids will have fun playing with them together. The remote is easy for kids to use, intuitive and the waterproof factor makes this a great toy for the outdoors.

Great Gator!

I have just been to visit my three year old grandson who received a Morphibian-Gator for his birthday. He is still learning how to manipulate his "beast", but he had great fun running over my feet and knocking down blocks. It will be a great tool for learning spatial relationships. I was pleased to see his older brother pull his own morphibian off the shelf and run it through the pond while I was there. His is over a year old! It isnice to see a toy that can be used through dirt and water and still stand the test of time.

We haven't used it a lot, so who knows how long it'll work, but we're happy so far. Our almost-4-year-old can use it on his own--the way the buttons on the remote are designed is very clear. We're still on the original battery, too.

I bought this for my Grandson's birthday. It is a great toy - so much fun! He will probably have a hard time getting it away from "Dad" to play with it. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

The Morphibian Gator was a hit with a 4 1/2 year old as his first RC toy. Controls were pretty easy to master, and the vehicle was resposive. Needs a flat surface to operate, it has very little ground clearance due to the hull-like body that allows it to go in water.

We bought two Morphibians for our kids to take on a camping trip to the woods. They are great! My 3 yo can operate hers easily enough, while the 5 yo is a pro driver. The cars handled the dirt, sticks, dead leaves, loose bark, rocks and mud better than expected! They even went in the river, the shallow areas. Once they went deeper than the body of the car, they float and didn't "swim" very strong but in the shallow water and puddles, they were great!

We orginially purchased a Morphibian "shark" for my neice for her birthday. She loved it so much that we bought the "gator" for our son. He loves it, as do all his friends, two of whom have since ordered one for themselves. The control is very easy to master and the kids picked it up quickly. It does not go as fast as I thought it would in the pool, but my son doesn't seem to mind and has thoroughly enjoyed this toy.

We have been so disappointed! It was a birthday gift for my little guy and we love the way it works when it works. It keeps cutting out like there is a bad connection. If we fiddle with the on/off switch we can usually get it going again but this is not cool for a new toy.

I purchased this for my 4 year old. All of my other children love it just as much as he does! It is extremely easy to use. Seems indestructIble. Continues to run even after going down a flight of stairs. I like that there are no small pieces that will break off. My 4 year old likes that it is easy for him to turn on and play with. Great toy.

My daughters, ages 8, 4, and 2, love playing with this toy. We have yet to take it in the water, but are looking forward to doing so in the spring! Even without the water feature it's a fun product.

This product was defective and I have initiated an exchange. The light on the vehicle and a light on the remote would both come on, but the vehicle would not move. I am excited about this product, once I get one that is functional.
