Melissa and Doug have great quality toys and this barn proves to be no exception. It is well made and provides lots of sliding doors and spaces for little hands to explore and find the 'right' place to house one of the seven farm animals that accompany the barn. I think it is a far superior choice over the plastic toys that are out there.

Fold and Go Barn

This barn was for 2 year old twins, a boy and a girl. It is a great hit and a super learning tool. They know their animals and the sounds they make and just enjoy telling others about them. This toy is very well made and not too expensive for what you get. I expect it to last to be passed down to their 5 month old sibling. For all you grandparents out there, this toy is built to last and can take a lot of abuse. This toy promotes interaction by learning where food comes from and where our daily bread comes from. I would recommend this toy as one to give and/or one to keep for when the grandkids come over.

Another Great Toy

Well made, allows for imaginative play. It is NOT plastic. I am so sick of rainbow colored plastic all over my house. It is also NOT Fisher-Price or Mattel. Although I know that M&D is also made in China, their name seems to stand for quality, long-lasting toys. I can't think of any M&D products over the years that I have bought and been unhappy with. I really think that many parents are considering the safety of toys - especially after the latest lead paint recall. I know I rounded up all my plastic junk and plan to replace it with what I perceive to be more quality toys: Haba, Plan Toys, Ryan's Room and other toys from Europe and the US. Also, handmade toys that guarantee they are made with non-toxic materials (perhaps even organic / environmentally-friendly)

My 4 year old son really enjoys playing with this toy. He has moderate autism and he took to this toy right away. He loves animals and he has the animals go back and forth into the barn. He also likes to put things in his mouth and I love Melissa and Doug because I feel like they set the standard for safe non-toxic toys.

The barn was a Christmas gift for our 22 month old daughter. It was her favorite right away. It is very well built and all the doors are easy for her to open. It was a hit and she still goes to play with it every day.

Bought this farm set for our 2 year old grandson. This is a beautiful farm set. The detailing and size are perfect. A very sturdy toy since its made of wood. This is one of his Christmas gifts that I know he will love.

I purchased two of the melissa and doug barns for my grandsons. They are made of quality materials and very well made. The animals are very realistic and cute. I love melissa and doug toys and have been purchasing them for years!

This was the second fold and go barn I have purchased. I have three children and each child has children. I try to keep toys for the grandkids when they visit. I watch one little grandaughter while her parents work. She adores the barn. When her cousins came to visit, they all wanted to play with the barn. So I will purchase one more fold and go barn for Christmas. Then all three of my children will have one for their kids to play with. They all go for the animals. They love to put them in the barn and they love to carry then around. Funny, they leave the poor turkey out of the mix of animals.

I bought this for my 2 year old twin girls and they love it! They will play together without fighting, and their older brothers (3 and 6) play with them as well. We have made beds for some of the animals to sleep on. The barn seems very sturdy, it holds up to a three year old stomping on it. I only wish it came with more animals.

Great toy!! Very high quality construction and finishing. The animals aren't the best I've seen, but they are pretty realistic looking. My 2 year old loves playing with it!! And carries the animals with him all over the place.

The Fold & Go Barn is well made and very sturdy. My 4 year old daughter loves it and has played with it daily since she got it 4 months ago. I highly recommend it if your child loves animals.

My son is 3 and loves his barn! I think it is well made. It leaves a lot of room for him to use his imagination. He is always telling people about his barn and the animals in it. It is a toy that will keep him entertained for years to come. I love to watch him as he puts his animals to bed, or as they play and talk together.

This is a beautiful barn. My 1 year old likes the animals and my 4 year old enjoys all the swinging and sliding doors, plus all the different pens for the animals. This has provided hours of entertainment!

The barn is sturdy and well-made. All of the different compartments for the animals to play is perfect. My only complaint is that while the barn itself is exceptional, the animals that it comes with are a cheap plastic. I am actually pairing the barn with the wooden Animalz that you also sell.

Fold and Go Barn was purchased as a Christmas gift for my 12 year son with Autism. It seems to be very sturdy and I believe will hold up to the play that he will bring to it on Christmas Day and beyond.

The barn is of classic nature, perfect for budding imagination. While there are no noises, lights and so forth of most modern toddler toys, this toy allows our adventurous and creative son to use his imagination.

This came out of the box at the end of a birthday party, and three of the kids immediately left other toys and came over to this one. It seems perfect for a toddler, but there were also two preschoolers who were also frankly interested in playing with it right away, leaving a few other more complicated toys behind. Really great construction.

Solid construction. The barnyard animals are included, insides a stable with 2 levels for playing, the barn folds so it takes up less room. My son loves it!

A lovely toy. My boys love it (ages 3 and 2). It is sturdy, has cute animals, and all the moveable parts look like they'll survive the onslaught of 2 small boys. It is not quite as attractive as it looks in the picture, but overall we're happy.

Good, strong, sturdy construction. I would have liked to have a latch of some sort to keep the barn together when transporting. My 4 year old grandson has enjoyed it.

My 2 year old son loves this barn. He has happily spent hours in pretend play with it...moving the animals around, putting them to "sleep", having them look out the windows, and reconfiguring the windows and gates. We love the wood construction and that we can fold it all together when he's done playing with it.

Today my grandsons ages 8 and 12 are here and they both loved it. The 12 yr old had reservations when I told him about it, but when he saw it, he couldn't keep his hands off it. He found more animals that have been in Grandma's toybox for years and started placing them in the stalls. Both boys especially liked the gates on stalls that opened and closed.
