Good title

I ordered this toy for one of my grandsons at Christmas and all five of my grandchildren loved it!! They range in age from 7yrs. to 2yrs. of age. It was the best loved toy that everyone got on Christmas Eve and played with most! Now I have ordered another for my grandson Ben's fourth birthday present because that is all he has talked about and wanted! It is a great toy and very well made! Melissa and Doug Toys are the best toys!

I bought the tree house play set and strucural blocks that are very high quality and promote imagination and curiosity.
I am a huge advoacte of wooden toys and these pieces are of high quality and durability.

This play set is surprisingly sturdy and well built. The kids in the classroom have been thrilled with all the pulleys and interactive features.

My 6 year old daughter got this for her birthday and LOVES it! It is the perfect home for all of her fairies! When she is done playing with the tree house, it is something her little brother will also enjoy.

We have seen this treehouse around before and the kids have always coveted it. When this site had it as a special deal one day, I knew I had to purchase it! My three kids are 5 and 3 and they use it for everything--action figures, Playmobil figures, little animals, part of their block play. It serves a lot of purposes. I love Melissa and Doug products and this is just as well made as their other stuff. Also, it looks nice so I don't mind having it our all the time in our living area.

Tree House Play Set

I'm pleased with the toy. Especially since I found it much cheaper on your web site than in the hobby store I originally saw it in. I would not have minded paying up to $15 more to have it right from the store but on line I found it for $50 less. Not charging for shipping really sealed the deal.
And at the party ( this was a birthday gift ) it was a big hit with grandparents. It's not run of the mill piece of junk that will be in the basement in a month and good-will in 2 months. Also I like the fact that everything screwed together so once he has grown out of the toy I can unscrew it and pack it away easily. After going through 9 years of gift with my first child I can tell what toys are keepers and what aren't.

Wonderful and great for a child's imagination. Quality of the wood is very nice. The cranks on the accesories are not too sturdy. You would need to hold onto the tree in order to crank. Otherwise the whole thing moves. Not a big deal. My daughter loves the size of it and she's 10. Nice to see there are toys out there that still leaves some things to your imagination!

We LOVE Melissa & Doug toys! I have been buying them since my son was born based on his physical therapist's recommendation. She used all their products as part of his therapy sessions. Even though my son is finished with physical therapy, we still continue to buy their toys. The Tree House is a wonderful addition to his collection. His imagination is taking off with this toy. I wish they sold more accessories with it. That is the only negative comment that I have about it.

This tree house play set has captured the the attention of both my 5 year old and my 2 year old. They have spent hours playing with this since it arrived. It is built from high quality and sturdy wood pieces.
My only complaint was that a piece of the set was missing when we received it. The missing piece was a second tier "trunk" pole used to support the second level of the tree house. One of the screws used to fasten the swing that sits on the top level was also stripped and would not screw into the swing to hold it to the top level.
We called fat brain toys and they quickly directed us to the melissa and doug call center. The are sending us replacement parts in the mail.
Overall this is a great set. I would have rated it a 5 if not for the problems outlined above.

This is a really great toy at a very reasonable price. The assmebly was a bit tedious and the directions weren't as clear as they could have been, but it did end up properly assembled without any trips to the hardware store, so all is well. Alone and together, our 4 year old and 2 year old have great fun with the stairs on a pulley system and the bucket on one as well. It is a great imagination and creativity booster. We also like the natural materials used, no worries about lead paint peeling or cracking, and no worries about the harmful chemicals in plastics.

This is a great treehouse playset. I purchased it for my son who is 5. He wanted this instead of a castle for his knights, princesses, dragons, etc... It comes with 2 little people as well. It was a great investment and FatBrainToys.com had the best price on the web w/free shipping! My daughter who is 7 plays with it as well. It only took a few minutes for my husband and I to put together. Great fun for the imagination. Will keep your kids busy! Great toy! Great toy website!

My daughter loves the toy, but I was a little dissapointed in the condition of the wodd platforms. There were scratches in the wood and it looks like messy glue on the edges. I would expect it to have come in better condition.

Melissa and Doug continue to make products of great quality. This one puts them in a new league of "major" toys. It's a doll-house, essentially, for boys and girls. Our 4-yr old son has made it, at least this week, Batman and Robin's "second home" - a retreat from their Fisher-Price Batcave.
It went together quickly and easily - with help from its new owner. He loved identifying the parts from the instructions and helping to screw them into place.

I think this was fairly easy to assemble as these kinds of things go. It's basically well constructed (some of the pieces move a little more than I wish they would). But it's great for developing fine motor skills and imagination. My little guy loves it!
Great for Multiple Children

My two boys, nieces and nephews whos ages range from 3 to 12 LOVED the tree house. It was big enough for them all to play on it together and comfortably. Even my niece with cerebal palsy was able to play on the lower levels and loved swinging the doll in the tire swing. It took approximately 45 minutes to assemble but it was well worth the time and is very sturdy and rugged once completed. Also, it is not so large that it takes up a ton of space, the size is just right.

This treehouse is amazing! I have a 5-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy, and they enjoy playing with dolls/action figures/plastic animals together. So I was looking for something similar to a dollhouse that would be gender-neutral. This is perfect! And its natural look is appealing to grownups too. It's bigger than I thought it would be, and my kids love it. They love moving the stairs and bucket up and down, and they also love the trap door/bridge, swing, and hammock. And the covered part of the house is big enough to put a few pieces of dollhouse furniture in. This toy has been worth the money for us!

A simple formula for success... no batteries + outstanding workmanship = an excellent imaginative toy for any child! This treehouse sparks the imagination of any boy or girl! It can house animals, people or dolls at any of the many levels. I bought it for a two year old boy but I can see girls loving it as well.
Personally, I especially love the roll-up stairs, ladder and bucket for they all add to the treeghouses' many dimensions. It provokes imagination and includes basic scientific principles that your child uses and explores.
Yes... there are a lot of pieces to assemble but if you lay them out initially the setup will be much faster and you'll end up saving yourself time! Regarding price... fat brain toys had the cheapest price by far...plus no shipping and no tax made this treehouse a steal!

This was a birthday gift for my 5 year old - he LOVES it. Assembly was fairly easy, quality is great (what I expect from Melissa & Doug products). Big and open so 2 kids easily play with it at a time. Great product.

My 3 year old son saw this toy in a specialty store and played with it for the entire visit. I always loved doll houses, but with a son it is difficult to find a masculine version. This tree house did it! We enjoy it every day and are looking for suitable accessories.

my little girl (2 1/2) loves the tree house and so do we. she's got all her wooden animals on it too! I love that it is plain and simple so she creates the scene with her imagination. It has stimulated her pretend play and her sense of wonder.
