Our son really likes it, in particular the laser pointer and the fact he can turn it on and off. It was a bit louder than we expected but still fun.

I recently purchased this mobile for my 5 year old son who is all about space. The remote is a big hit. The sound of the motor isn't bothersom. I like the fact that it turns off automatically after 20 minutes. For anyone inspired by earth and beyond, this is great gift.

Absolutely wonderful!!

I ordered this for my grandson who was turning six. He is very into the solar system right now and I thought that it would be perfect. I couldn't be happier! It was his favorite gift! It only took a few minutes to assemble and the mounting to the ceiling was easy. It is even neater than I expected it to be. He has been playing with it all day. He loves the remote control and the fact that it is also a laser pointer is really great! I highly recommend this product to everyone!

I love having the solar system in my child's room. Not only is it decorative, but educational as well.

This is the third one of these that I have purchased all for my son's room. The first one, the clips that hold it to the ceiling mount broke when I was changing the batteries. The second one came damaged from the manufacturer where the wires attach to the planets. And now for the third one, my son has had it less than a week and it starts & stops spinning all while it is still lit up. It's not the batteries & I know others have listed problems with the motors. My son loves to fall asleep to this. It's too bad they can't make it work right!

I wish the motor that rotates the mobile was completely quiet. They should be able the change the gear design to reduce the noise produced as it rotates. I also felt the sun would be brighter. We have the Uncle Milton "Moon in My Room" light as well and the light seems brighter.

Purchased for my 5 year old grandson. His mother agreed that it was an excellent value, though I have not yet seen it personally.

It arrive quickly, was easy to assembly, and made a 4 year old very excited. His mom has been reading books about planets to him and now he has a great visual to help him learn It also completed my decorating theme in his room which made me very happy.

We bought the mobile for our 6 year old son's room. It is decorated like space and he picked this mobile because it spaced all the planets out correctly and was interactive. Received it a week ago and he has played with it every night since.

My daughter loves it! Great service, great product

I bought this for my 3 year old son for Christmas and he absolutley loves it! We mounted it on the ceiling above his bed and he looks at it every night, and now he knows all the planets.
My 8 year old daughter loved his so much that we bought this one for her and now she is getting very interested in astronomy and the planets.
It's fun and educational. Easy to install.

I purchased this mobile as the final touch for my 5-year-old son's Solar System bedroom. He absolutely loves it and could not be more thrilled. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that Saturn's rings occassionally catch on Jupiter and the noise of the motor. Overall, it was a good purchase and I would recommend it for any child facinated by outer space.

The product does not rotate. We don't want to try again. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: We contacted our customer about the immobile mobile. A credit was issued for the defective product.)

"One of the coolest lights I've ever seen!" That is the reaction I received from my godson who received this. Installation is a breeze.

The solar system requires a moderate size hole in the ceiling, but the effect is worth it if your kid loves space.

This Solar System Mobile was ordered for use in a classroom of developmentally disabled adults. It is used as a sensory tool. The product has attracted a lot of interest and smiles. It is easy to put up and easy to operate. So far, everyone in the classroom loves it. The individuals ooh and aah and point to it. The sensory function of the mobile is very good.

I can't find a better rotating solar system mobile. The timer feature is convenient for use at toddler bedtime. Has 2 rotating rings so inner and outer plannets rotate with respect to each other. Installing it was not a problem. The light is not bright and replacing batteries requires taking down the mobile. Also, the motor is a little loud and sounds like it is straining. I wish the central "sun" was smaller & and less tacky.

Almost a great toy. The planets should glow in the dark. The rotating mechanism is loud.

My son really enjoys this product. It would be great if the sun lit up without the motor on.

After having purchased Uncle Milton's Moon in my Room, I was a bit unhappy with the Solar Mobile. It was bigger and bulkier than I anticipated. On the same token, I do enjoy the educational toys.

We purchased this for our 7 year old boy's birthday. He is fascinated with the solar system and specifically requested this toy. It was easy to install and looks very cool is his room. My only criticism would be that the motor is a little bit noisy. If you are using it as a night lite, a child that is distracted by noise might be bothered by the motor. Great concept and learning tool.

I bought the item for my son who loves anything to do with space and planets. The feature of the planets rotating around the sun really excites my kids. The ability to activate with a remote control is great. The scale of planets and markings are a great reference for my kids.

My grandson loves his Solar System Mobile. My son complained about the installation but he complains about most everything. The assembly was simple and the product is a great teaching tool.

Very disappointed. It works, but the planets don't light up and the orbits knock into each other. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: Due to these planetary problems, we contacted Bobi with information on receiving a replacement Solar System Mobile.)
