Bananagrams: 5-6 years The game Bananagrams grew from a passionate love of word games.
The Bananagrams game was created by a family of three generations, spanning in age from 7 – 75. Obsessed by word games, the family hankered after something more fluid than the classic word games. A family game that everyone could play together – ALL ages at the same time. They sought something portable, effective as a travel game, simple enough (with no superfluous pieces or packaging) to play in restaurants while waiting for food.
They hit upon a winning notion & a name as well, “The anagram game that will drive you bananas!” – hence BANANAGRAMS! We love that one hand Bananagrams can be played in as little as five minutes, but as it’s so addictive, it’s often hard to put away! It’s fast, fun and exciting… lets face it – bananas are silly!
