My son loves to play with sand, but they are so messy! This is a great alternative to a traditional sandbox.This is perfect because it comes with a little plastic mat so the sand doesn't get on anything and once you're done playing it goes right back in the box it came in for storage. Therefore, both kids and parents will love it!

I ordered this for my son's 4 year old birthday, and he really enjoys it. I did slip a small apollo rocket into the box before I gave it to him since what is a space toy without a rocket? But he does love the little rake and shovel, and he spends a lot of time scooping the rocks out of the sand and putting them in the crater, etc.
