This set looked really great online, and it IS full of a good amount of colored beads of all shapes and sizes. The one problem I have is that the instruction book is high on pictures of finished products, and girls wearing what they supposedly have made, but mighty scarce on good, simple, step-by-step instructions. Also, there are lots of ideas for jewelry made from string, but no string is included in the kit. We will use this kit and my daughter is already enjoying it, but she cannot manage anything more than a simple necklace without my help. Like I said, the instructions are not good, although there are cute ideas in the book. Also, I think the price was pretty high, as most of the bigger beads are kinda flashy and on the tacky side. There are LOTS of seed beads, but the bigger beads leave a little to be desired.
