How to Play
The rules for playing BlongoBall are simple and easy to learn. Officially the BlonGoals should be 25 feet apart, but one reason the game is so popular with so many different groups is that the distance between goals can also be closer. In a therapy setting or at an elementary school for example, the distance may be significantly reduced.
BlongoBalls are thrown by holding one ball in your hand and swinging it slowly back and forth underhanded. When ready, throw the BlongoBall at the opposite goal releasing so the BlongoBall flies with a backward rotation.
Points are scored when the BlongoBall hangs from one of the horizontal bars of the BlonGoal. The game is played until one person or team reaches exactly 21 points.
You may throw a BlongoBall and knock your opponent's BlongoBall off of a horizontal bar. This removes the corresponding points from your opponent's total and is a legitimate defensive strategy.

Best set I've seen

I've seen many different versions of this game out on the beach, and heard many people complain about how poorly made their game sets were. BlongoBall received a lot of positive reviews online, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! The goals are made of heavy duty PVC pipe, and they are easy to set up and take down. My only (minor) complaint is about the balls- other sets have two hacky-sack-like balls attached by a fabric cord, while the balls that came with BlongoBall are golf balls. They'll certainly hold up, but they're less kid-friendly. All in all, though, a nicely constructed game set.
Fun for all ages

The 'ladder ball' style game is tons of fun for all ages. Our family vacation included those from six years old to 70 years young, and we all enjoyed playing! It is sturdy, easy to assemble, and requires no screws or bolts. The only issue we had with the game was dis-assembling it. Some of the piping was 'stuck' together, and it had to be sprayed with a cooking spray from a can to loosen it up. Also, it is very difficult to pack it back in the box in it's original form. We have to supply our own carry case for the future. Hence, the reason for the four out of five stars.
