Julia started writing books to help teach kids successful social skills. She wanted to give children good reasons to “do the right thing” and practical techniques proven to really work in life situations. Her understanding and ability to reach kids came partly from her education as a Master’s level elementary counselor – but most notably from the wealth of wisdom gained in time spent talking with and teaching children.
Julia’s funny stories help kids pay attention. They help children understand the value of respecting others. Her books encourage kids with new knowledge and skills. Most importantly, they inspire people of all ages to take responsibility for their own behavior.
