The microscope is okay. I had to adjust the table level to get focus @ 40X - the Ulead software is disappointing. It does not function as described in the user guide. A visit to the Ulead website says this version Photo Explorer SE 7.0 is no longer supported.

My kids were very pleased with their new microscope. The digital camera lens works great, and makes it a lot easier to study the specimens.
