sturdy, light weight, even picks up the scoop we also ordered. But best was grandson's whoop of delight when he opened it and immediately went to work with it. In the house, in the yard, at the beach: it works !

Given as a birthday gift to grandson 1200 miles away, so I only know what I was told. Grabber was a big hit at the party with all boys taking turns 'grabbing' hot dogs, cupcakes and other foods.
It was played with contstantly throughout the 3-hour party. All the boys were 4-5 years old.

My son was exstatic when we pulled the grabber out of the box. He immediately headed out to the sand box. He's just turned 3 and finds it hard to squeeze the handle shut, but he's not daunted--he works it with both hands and uses it to dig. I'm sure by the end of the summer he will have built up those muscles!

My son is a huge Monster Garage fan and likes to customize his own toy trucks into monsters like on the show. I purchased this for him to use when making several of the cars from the show that have diggers/grabbers on them. This is perfect for that. I can also see it would be fun for sand, playing robots, or as the package indicates; astronauts. The grabber function really works and is easy to use.

The Grabber does exactly what it says! Nice and sturdy, excellent quality. Durable! I'm sure it will withstand my 2 young boys for years to come.
