I debated spending this amount of money on a portable kitchen set when a much larger plastic playset could be bought for the same amount, but I'm not at all disappointed with the purchase. I bought this kitchen for my 2.5-year-old son, who is currently fascinated with all things cooking-related, but it is so engaging that my 6-year-old daughter loves playing along with him. It is a small set, intended to be used while sitting down or put up on a table-top, but I love the compact size and portability. The biggest selling points for me were having the ability to disassemble and travel with it (it took two minutes to take apart and put back together), and that the high-quality accessories were included - the food is perfectly play-sized and the pots and pans are sanded to such a smooth finish, they actually feel soft to the touch. We have only had it a short time so I can't speak on long-term durability, but the materials do appear sturdy and resilient (and have already survived air travel in checked baggage). My only design concern is that my son tends to kneel on the oven door when it's open, so I'm a little concerned he may crack the window or break the door, but that's just a theoretical concern and not an actual issue. My kids love it, and I get a smile on my face whenever I see it. For me, definitely worth the money.
small but great quality

I was initially surprised by how small the kitchen was, but it is really good quality and my 15mo daughter and 3yr old son love it. It wont hold a lot, but it also wont take up your whole house. Very sturdy and life-like.
FANTASTIC

Easy to assemble, great fun...even for our soon to be 1 year old. Wish had a little more food which came with it and maybe an oven sheet would be fun too. Would also be fun if small pegs on the side to hang the utensils.
My kid loves this toy!

Nicely designed kitchen stove. Swiss design - manufactured in China. Wish the wood used was a little more high quality - but I realize that would raise the price of the item. Proportionally perfect - not too big, not too small. Fits in our kitchen nicely. Our son loves to pretend like he's cooking while his mama cooks too! Easy to put together - no tools or hardware.
Great little kitchen

I bought this for my son (he's 2 yrs old) and he loves it. I think it estimulates his imagination and we both have a great time playing w/ it.
