This is a Christmas gift so has not been opened yet. Looks to be of high quality and I am sure the 7 year old boy will enjoy this gift, so will his engineer Dad.

I gave this to my 7 year old grandson and he loves it. He needs a little help sometimes but he will grow with it. A great learning tool.

I gave this electronics learning set to my grandson for his fifth birthday. He loves it! After doing a few sample projects together, I explained how the board and the pictures are marked with the same grid and that he could use that information to do the projects by himself. He immediately set about working on #5 and with some trial and error, but no frustration, he completed it without my help. He was elated and ready for more. Although he is only 5, it is clear that with over 100 projects of varying degrees of complexity, he will enjoy this set for several years to come.

This is a Christmas present for our son, so we haven't even opened the box that it came in! I'm sure it's great, though. The reviews were fantastic.
