I searched high and low for a chemistry set for my son to use in conjunction with his homeschool chemistry course. It was very hard to find a reasonably priced set that wasn't for beginners or a "toy" set. When we got this set he was so excited! It comes with a book as well, that not only gives precise experiment instructions, it also identifies each item included, gives safety precautions, how to dispose of the chemicals, etc. This kit is more than enough to satisfy your budding chemist.
