I am using this product with my students in summer school who range in age from 8 to 19. Brick by brick is a big hit!! Most kids approach the game by saying "This looks too easy for me" but that quickly changes when they try to create the shape. I also like that you can try to create the shape with hints or without hints. This lets the kids choose who to interact with the toy.

My sons love the puzzle solving and work as a team for hours (sometimes without fighting!). We take it in the car and to restaurants to entertain the children. It's a fun game and makes learning spacial relationships fun.
great for young school age children

The "easy" ones are a great starter because they take time, but do not frustrate in that they really can be figured out with a little thought. The more challenging ones are GREAT for teaching attention, spacial orientation, planning assembly sequences, and patience. My son, 7, loves it.

Kids and adults love this game, at least that is what I have seen. It's great for working on spacial ability as well as helping kids get use to spending time to accomplish a goal instead expecting the instant gratification. My students have been able to actually see their ability and speed to put together the different shapes increase. I will be buying a few more sets real soon.
